“My goal is to get a parent and a kid a year.”

Shaped by the wise words of his grandfather and the love of reading from his grandmother, Mr. Woody Randall joins us to reflect on his educational roots. After surviving two childhood open heart surgeries and Hurricane Katrina, Woody experienced the culture shock of leaving New Orleans and moving to Atlanta.

“Ask every hard question.”

Woody states that Young Black men are the foundation of America, and he discusses the impact he has as a Black man in the classroom. We’re exploring the growing pains in his educational career, all the hats that educators wear and roles that they play, and the benefit of receiving feedback.
